I am in Alabama for this state's Harley Owners' rally (hopefully saying it that way will not step on any trademarked toes).

The ride down yesterday was great. The weather is a bit warmer here than back my way in Tennessee. Today I am going to ride on a couple of events but tomorrow is the big day of activities.

This morning is already promising. Eating breakfast at the the hotel I noticed the dining area had two different types of bikers. The denim wearing Harley riders and the tanned group of bicyclists. Surprisingly the bicyclists were the rowdy ones. I listened (had no choice since the bicyclists were loud) as one guy got blocked as he attempted to make conversation with one the lady cyclists. Really, does everyone in the room need to hear about her knee injury let alone her "friend" saying she injured it during rough sex? I felt bad for the guy because the ladies seemed to be pretty close friends and none of them were interested in what he had to say. He was just making conversation, sheesh woman, give the man a break I am sure he was not hitting on your friend . . .

Well today was busy and even though I only went on two rides it was an all day adventure.

First there was everyone gathering together to head over to the Morgan Creek Winery.

Nice panoramic shot of the staging area. This was taken with my Motorola Droid Razr. I am using that docked in the Lapdock 500 Pro for updating the website during the trip:

Then we had a nice gentle ride through the countryside. Thank you to the Road Captains for making it happen.
Once at the winery:

Next was the ride back to the dealer and on to Barbers' Motorsports Museum.
